Puzzle - Section 3

After spending over a year writing, designing and coding, I'm thrilled to say that I'm finally finished with Section 3. This one is epic.

The rules are the same as before. Try to progress from page to page. Look for clues and remember what you've seen. Everything you need to know is there or has been given. Any (and every) detail could be significant. If you're stuck, start over from the beginning with a new eye. If you get really stuck, send questions to puzzle@lisidesign.com.

Grooveshark Theme

Awhile back, I was invited to contribute a theme to Grooveshark — the world's largest on-demand music streaming and discovery service. It was kind of tricky beginning because there wasn't really a brief or design objective. I guess it was to just make something cool. With very little direction, I approached this like I normally do — puzzles and codes. You can see the full version here.





Details of my Grooveshark theme include moon phases, the Drake Equation, punched card as well as many other ciphering methods.

The Everywhere Project

If you haven't had a chance to check out The Everywhere Project, you should head over there immediately — well at least after you read this post. The group of incredibly talented designers and illustrators involved in this collaboration have been tasked to design luggage labels paying tribute to the classic song I've Been Everywhere.

The project was started by Adrian Walsh and I am honored to have been invited to participate. I was even lucky enough to represent my native state of Colorado. Below are some details of my submission. I embedded some puzzles and codes in there so try to figure them out — there's a handful of them.

It's hard to pick, but some of my favorites include Waterloo by Nate Luetkehans, Amarillo by Jeff Rogers and Wichita by KU alumni Matt Chase. All the others are amazing as well so be sure to check them out and return often because new ones are still being posted.
